How to make Paneer kebab that looks and tastes like chicken kebab

For all the vegetarians out there who want to try something similar to mouth watering chicken kebab and, also for all the non-vegetarians who for some reason couldn't get their hands on chicken and want to make some kebabs. This is a must know recipe.



How to prepare?

  • Take a mixer jar.
  •  Add a handful  coriander leaves, mint leaves (Pudina), green chillies - 4 to 5, cloves of garlic 8 to 10, ginger - 1 inch (1 or 1.5 spoon, finely chopped)
  • Grind this into a fine paste.
  •  For marinating paneer :

    In a bowl, add  paneer  (250 grams) cut into small cubes. Then, add 1cup curd, 3 spoons maida, 2 spoons corn flour, 2 spoons fine semolina (rava), 3 spoons  of red chilli powder, 1spoon of garam masala, 1spoon  of dhania (coriander)powder. Also, add  the above paste and salt(as per taste).
  •  Mix all ingredients well and keep in fridge for 2 to 3 hours. 
  • Then deep fry in oil on medium flame.
Serve hot with some mint chutney, lemon and onions!
